We were there for 2 weeks and loved it. It was a very nice family hosting. They involved us in activities like cooking classes. Friendly kids came over every day to play soccer and volleyball with us. We harvested delicious peanuts with the locals. We biked around the island and went to the beautiful Buffalo Beach. We watched amazing sunsets every night. Stay here if you're ready to live like a local!

Very kind owners who were attentive to my questions or needs, and tried to help whatever they could. It's just by the river, and you can enjoy the sunset or sunrise with hammock. They also run a restuarnat which is practical. They organize a trip to see the waterfalls in Don Xom which was one of the best experiences I had in this trip.

THE BEST GUEST HOUSE IN DONDET ISLAND! The room is brand new. Inside the room is big with air conditioning and hot shower in the bathroom, out side the room have balcony with hammock where we loved to relax and best location for see the sunset and river view. The accommodation is near to the shop, restaurant. From the pier about 4-5 minutes walk. They also have restaurant and the food was great too. We rented bicycles from guest house about 1.5 dollars per day to explore dondet and donkhone island, For other island they have boat trip too we booked boat to the sunset but we saw only big rained lol because rain season highly recommend to this accommodation if you come to dondet and finally we will come to dondet again, hope to see you again take care

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

We enjoyed our stayed here! The room with fan and private bathroom, there is no hot shower option for this price, there are some A/C room around but we have to pay 25 - 30 dollars more. So we enjoyed to stayed here.
