From the very first moment, we felt right at home. The hosts were incredibly caring and kind, making us feel like part of their family. Their warm welcome and continuous attentiveness made our stay truly special. One highlight was definitely the tour with the host (Rabi) to see the lorises. These fascinating creatures, which are hardly seen anywhere else in the world, left us completely enchanted. It was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend. We genuinely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It felt like coming home – not to one mom, but to many welcoming moms. All the staff took such good care of us and made sure we had the best time. They had great tips on sightseeing and booked a fair priced tuktuk to drive us around Dambulla. The buffet was varied and delicious; the room and garden were tidy, beautiful and clearly looked after; the bed was super comfortable. We really hope we can come back one day.

We had an amazing, authentic and memorable stay at Menara Green Inn. It felt so homely and the owner and his family’s hospitality were outstanding. The Inn is in a very quiet part of town which we thought was nice. It has a nice garden and wild monkeys on the rooftop. Amazing! It was a little far from the good restaurants but the owner drove us in his Tuk-tuk to the restaurant and picked us up again afterwards. He also drove us to the bus at the end of our stay. All free of charge and out of a good heart. We also went on a great tour with the owner to Sigiriya. Definitely recommended! And the traditional breakfast we had in the morning was so delicious! We also had fresh fruit, juice and tea every day free of charge. All in all an amazing experience for us. Thank you to the family for your hospitality and kindness.

The couple running the homestay was fantastic! They were very welcoming, cooked really great dinner and breakfast and welcomed us with homemade passionfruit juice! They also helped to arrange a tour of the area and even drove us to our next stay in Anuradhapura themselves which was a very enjoyable drive. The room was also perfect, clean and comfortable.

A kind and hospitable family that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. They could organise everything for you if you so wish. The home was kept spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious and in abundance. Dambulla itself is really nice. It provides a glimpse of real Sri Lanka and we appreciated the conversations we had with the hosts. The cave temple is near by and main tourist attractions such as Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa are a must. We saw lots of elephants at the safari, up close, and enjoyed the wonderful views of Pidurangula rock. Thank you!

Nice room and good location. You can see playing monkeys from your terrace and you get really good breakfast shame we didn’t have a dinner I believe it would be great also.
