1) The place was clean and tidy! 2) The Wi-Fi worked well! 3) The kitchen was fully equipped with essentials like a microwave, a large fridge (with no strange odors), and an electric stove—amenities you usually don’t find in hotels! 4) Each room had its own private bathroom! (The only downside was the lack of a water heater in the shower, but the owner mentioned they're installing it soon!) 5) The air conditioning was excellent! 6) The living room, bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious! 7) The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful!

Loved my stay at Alma Hostel! Great location, everything feels new and super high quality. The beds are comfy with privacy curtains, and the whole space is thoughtfully designed. The crew, especially the owners, are incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Very large room with kitchenette and bathroom, huge flat screen smart TV and A/C. The entire floor has a series of similar flats opening to terrace and landing with microwave, ironing board and laundry lines. Very convenient location near Maharagama centre near the Colombo-Batticaloa highway and at a few minutes from Kotte and Polwatta. The host is fully proficient in accommodating all nationalities and provides a plethora of amenities for either cooking, cleaning, or refreshments. He also was assisting to further my trip in the most budget friendly and efficient manner. All of it for an unbeatable value for money rate.

Taprobane was the most amazing hotel we stayed in during our trip in Sri Lanka. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They were so smiley and welcoming and also looked after us so well! The hotel is new and extremely clean. The rooms are huge. The bed is lovely. The whole place is genuinely well made and maintained. Absolute gem of a hotel. We ordered room service the last night of our stay and the butter prawns were tremendous. We were pleasantly surprised to see the food being so on point too! If you are staying in Colombo this hotel is THE place to get some rest from the city bustle. Well done to everyone working there and special thanks to Deeptha for his support and efforts!

We loved everything at Sheraton. The room was beautifully decorated to welcome us for our honeymoon. Thanks to the Front Office Manager and whole team. You made our stay memorable:-) The food was excellent. The spa beautiful decorated with professional therapist. Thanks to the young lady who took care of me. We enjoyed the roof top with great music and delicious cocktail. We are planning every year to renew our vows.
