This place is a true little paradise! Martinez and his colleague looked after us very well, kindly upgrading us to a bigger bungalow with a kitchen as we were the only guests. The bungalow was perfectly clean and so were the pool and the rest of the grounds. The location is great with the property being right by the beach. We were even allowed to cut some coconuts out of the trees and enjoy fresh coconut water. They have a cook that can you provide you with meals, one evening we ordered a fish BBQ at the beach, which was fantastic! We can highly recommend Nayan’s Paradise!

A very cool accommodation near the center - the family lives upstairs and the room is downstairs with a own entrance, it's a quite, private, little place with very kind hosts. We liked everything :)

Channa, the owner, is a lovely man. We had a last minute check in with him, and he arranged a spacious, comfortable budget room for the 3 of us. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was very good. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. Highly recommended.

I loved my stay at Melheim resort. I had the flu whilst there & the manager kindly picked me up dome medication. The setting is stunning, such a peaceful place by the sea to rest & restore myself.

The girls Rashmi, Nimesha and Kawya are cousins, very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are near the sea, the food cooked by the girls with the help of their grandmother is excellent, peace and rest are guaranteed. There is an additional restaurant on the beach quite near. Local fishermen deliver fresh fish every day, which the hosts also prepare for you.

An Absolute Hidden Gem – Pure Magic at Dolphin Beach Resort I stayed at Dolphin Beach Resort for one night with my friend Arif, and honestly, I’m still dreaming about it. This place is gorgeous—a hidden gem tucked away in serene Kalpitiya that deserves way more attention than it gets. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted. The property is huge, incredibly clean, and so peaceful that it felt like time slowed down. The architecture is stunning—eco-chic in the best way. We stayed in one of their luxury tents, and let me just say... it was out of a dream. Spacious interiors, a thoughtfully designed bathroom, and an outdoor shower that made me feel like I was in a nature-luxe fantasy. The view? Breathtaking. There's even a windmill nearby that adds a rustic charm to the horizon, and we loved it—it added so much character to the vibe. The pool was picture-perfect, and the whole atmosphere just made us feel like we had escaped to our own private paradise. Dinner was beautifully arranged—delicious, fresh, and served with care. In the morning, we asked if we could have breakfast by the beach, and they went out of their way to set it up for us. That gesture alone won my heart. I truly don’t understand why this place isn’t packed—maybe that’s part of its charm. But trust me, more people need to discover this slice of heaven. I’ll definitely be going back. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and something extraordinary, Dolphin Beach Resort is the place.

We had a really great stay here!! Tharanga was the loveliest host and they couldn’t do more for us. He has amazing English so communication was super easy. The pool is massive with a shallow kids section too, rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was insane, we had a few different curries and string hoppers for breakfast! They were very accommodating and let us order for specific times with vegetarian options It’s currently off season so it’s quiet, and they really kindly let us check out a couple hours later than the initial time. The whole complex is beautiful and they even had a ‘beer pub’ with a wide variety of drinks. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and overall the stay was great value A little bit far from the town but this didn’t bother us as we just wanted to chill. Loved this place it was rustic but perfect for our Wilpattu adventure. Rooms were nice enough although Ac wasn’t fab. Staff were helpful would stay again.
