Extraordinary hospitality of our host and his family. We had coffee, lime juice (limes from their own garden) and fruits. A very serene place. Clean and quiet and green all around. We felt so much at home. Mosquito nets, big beds and very clean bath. When I opened their guest book, I saw so very many entries by people who all said the same> just wonderful. THANK you, we hope we can visit again

We stayed for 1 night and the staff were so incredibly welcoming! The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We were craving Sri Lankan food and they made us an entire spread for just 2 people for the complementary breakfast in the morning. The property itself is really beautiful - very in nature and the sounds the birds/ jungle when you wake up/ when you swim is really peaceful. We also saw them feeding the squirrels and taking care of the little stray animals which was really nice. A place with real passion for taking care of nature. Overall, really happy with the experience.

This hotel was outstanding! Impeccably clean, with delicious food and incredibly kind staff. They went above and beyond to solve a problem we had, arranging everything perfectly for the next day. Super organized and attentive. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay! Dinner was excellent, with an exceptional rice & curry and delicious kottu (a local specialty).

I had an amazing stay at Yu T Home Stay Anuradhapura! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location was great—close to "Anuradhapura puja city" (Near 3KM ) but still quiet and peaceful. Place was very clean and have everything I needed. They have kitchen, dining room, attached bathrooms per each room. Kitchen is Fully equipped with gas cylinder, burner, rice cocker, pots, knives, cutting board and everything needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. I’d definitely come back again! 😍

We were very warmly welcomed by the owners Praba and Mahinde. They were very kind all the time and offered us the best condițions to feel comfortable. They rent us 2 bycicles at very reasonable price to explore the sacred area. Moreover, Mahinde drove us to Mihintale and introduced us to the history of place. The room was clean and breakfast delicios. I would like to recomand this homestay to those who love nature and stare experience with local people.

Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.

    Super friendly owner, they really cared for me. You can feel that they are just warmhearted and genuine people. thank you :)) Room and Bathroom were very clean plus very nice balcony area. You can reach the nice spots (stupa, archaeological etc) just by walking

    The host is a most warmhearted and welcoming person. He also has helpful tips for excursions to nearby sights or places to eat out. The most important historic places are within walking distance. I got a delicious breakfast at a fair price. Despite the affordable rate this place is at the same level as much more expensive ones. There are non AC and AC rooms available.

    The location was brilliant for seeing all the sights of Mihantale & Caprillo our host was so helpful in advising us too, he is the best host. The place was lovely & comfortable & we were cooked the most exceptionally delicious curry dinners in the evenings, we absolutely loved the food! Breakfast was also wonderful. Mihantale itself is beautiful & interesting to explore too & we would recommend definitely staying here to see it. The best guest house we've stayed in throughout our holiday!

    The place is very beautiful and the owner and his family are very kind. We went here for 1 night and we were so pleased that we stayed 4 nights. The rooms , the garden , all is very clean , quite and pleasant . We used bicycle to go to the wonderful and splendid archaeological site of Mihintale and to the lake.

    We had a great stay here. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - they even helped us out with tuktuk problems. Breakfast was great - we are travelling on a budget but was great value for the money and good combination of western and Sri Lankan breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious and we enjoyed the pool a lot. All together, highly recommended!
