Idyllic place in the middle of nature. Well decorated and maintained. Kind, but not to invasive personnel. Highly recommended to visit Sinharaja forest reserve, but you can easily also spend a day or two only to chill in the hotel.

Family run pension - the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Amazing location! This is a proper hideaway - the bungalows are located away from any road (the hosts would pick you up with their 4x4 from the village but you'll have to follow the narrow pathway also to reach a beautiful river cascade at the doorstep of your tiny house. Perfect place to watch nature (eagles, kingfishers, peacocks, magpies, barking deer). The family provides really good, home cooked meals, fresh juices and desserts. Treks and activities are also available. Highly recommended for anyone craving an adventure and to connect with nature. Thank you for everything!

Everything was excellent from the very beginning of our arrival. We were warmly welcomed with refreshing tea. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding—everything was incredibly delicious. The location of the accommodation is amazing. It is just next to the rainforest with a beautiful view. Also the room was modern and nice. The food was delicious. The people are kind and helpful (arranging hiking tours, finding taxi, etc.).

We really enjoyed our stay at Sinharaja Vini Villa. The location is beautiful next to the river and close to Sinharaja Forrest reserve. It's so peaceful, nice place to relax. The hosts are such a lovely family, very welcoming. All the family are involved in running the homestay. We also had dinner there, the portions are generous, and also beautiful fresh fruit juices. To walk in Sinharaja forest you need a guide as paths are not clearly marked, our host arranged a guide for the day hike, and was very kind as we arrived back late (we took ages with taking photos) and we were able to shower and freshen up, and had complimentary fruit juice before our onward journey. Our shoes got really muddy, and our host kindly washed them, and dried them for us. Also the accommodation can arrange you transport with good safe drivers. Would certainly recommend staying there, especially if you love a quiet time, nature and Forrest.

The accommodation is brand new. It's decorated with great taste. You feel comfortable immediately. Everything is very clean. The outdoor area is beautiful. The owners are lovely people.
