Ferndale’s philosophy is rooted in nature and respect for the ecosystem. It is a luxury hotel where sustainability and eco-friendliness take top priority. All food is locally and organically sourced, adding to the authenticity of the experience. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who shared his vision with great passion and pride, making us appreciate the concept even more. The retreat is located in the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, near Kandy. The untouched nature makes it a perfect destination for stunning hikes, which are thoughtfully organized by the team. Along the trails, you can discover hidden waterfalls and encounter unique endemic wildlife. Lastly, we must highlight the outstanding service and incredible food. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. The meals are amazing because of the freshness of the ingredients and the dedication put into every dish. Make sure to try the icecream :-)! For anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and warm, personal hospitality, we can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Incredible comfort and hospitality. European perfect quality. Magic nature view, clean fresh water in swimming pool, tasty and variety food, comfortable bed, silence and quiet. Serenity Villa Digana was an absolutely breathtaking place. If you are looking for a calm and quiet retreat, this is the ideal destination for your vacation. It was a fabulous experience. The villa is situated in a nice, quiet location near Victoria Reservoir. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to our needs at every step. The room was well-maintained, with all amenities available, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. I wish I could have extended my stay for a few more days. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

Rangala House is a very special place. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, with a panoramic view that changes almost every time you blink. The staff are wonderful. Amala will help you with whatever you need and there is always someone around to serve drinks and food and to chat to about the gorgeous surroundings. They organised an Ayurvedic massage for us with a local man which was wonderful. Anthony, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming and a joy to be around. The chefs deserve a very special mention. The food at Rangala House was probably the best we had throughout the month we spent in Sri Lanka. As two backpackers travelling on a budget, we are so happy we decided to splurge a little and stay here - it was worth every penny. Thank you all!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the villa in Victoria Golf Club, Digana, for two nights, and it was truly an enchanting experience. The villa's architecture is nothing short of beautiful, with every detail carefully crafted to create a serene and luxurious atmosphere. One of the standout features was undoubtedly the breathtaking view that surrounded the villa. Waking up to the scenic beauty of the surroundings was a surreal experience. The infinity pool, in particular, left us super satisfied – a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning landscape. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality was exceptional, and they were incredibly helpful throughout our time there. The breakfast they served was not only delicious but also presented with attention to detail. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and we're already hoping for an opportunity to experience the luscious comfort of the villa again. It's a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious retreat.
