i really like this place! the owner Tholal was very friendly and helpful, we did a lovely Manta Ray Trip. Rooms are big, clean and got everything you need.. there is a small kitchen too so you could prepare something yourself also if you like.. Breakfast was good and in a lovely spot at the Water.. definitely coming back!

The house is super cute and convenient. All appliances are new and everything is well-maintained. The host would always check on us to see if everything was in order and he also assisted us with the speedboat transfers. This was an amazing find in Dhangethi!

I had the most wonderful stay at Antares Dhangethi. Fari, who runs the place with her husband, was there throughout, making sure I had everything I needed. The whole team at the guesthouse were some of the sweetest people I’ve met, always ready to help with a smile. One of the best parts is that they have their own dive shop — Fathu Dives, hands down the best on the island. Every morning before my dive trips, they thoughtfully packed my breakfast to take along. From the moment I landed, there was someone at the airport to guide me to the speedboat, and even on the island I was looked after, whether it was getting around by golf cart or just making things easy. This is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. I’d recommend Antares Dhangethi to anyone visiting the Maldives without a second thought!

A cozy and safe oasis with a great location in lovely Dhangethi. Ellen took good care of us throughout our stay, and communication with Ellen went flawlessly before and during our trip. The room air conditioning and Wifi worked well, the bed was huge and good for sleeping. Child-friendly accommodation, nearby playground and soccer field. Ellen and Nadeem organized memorable trips for us to Turtle reef, snorkeling and see the dolphins at sunset. Dhangethi Retreat will always have a special place in our hearts!

The host and his family were amazing, handing out packed breakfast at 6am before diving. We had a health emergency, and the host was very supportive, he called the ambulance, visited our friend in hospital and even bought the prescription. Rooms were clean and modern, the cottage is quiet and nice.

Ari Grand Hotel on Dhangethi Island exceeded all expectations during my recent stay. The friendly staff made me feel truly at home from the moment I arrived. The clean swimming pool and inviting garden sofas were perfect for relaxation and work. The spacious room, along with the unexpected upgrade to the Jacuzzi Suite, added a touch of luxury to my experience. Very kind owners and a very charming little hotel, very close to the beach. I appreciated the owner's arrangement with boats, honesty, and kindness. The rooms are big and with great windows on the garden. it is all on one floor, so very accessible. This is exactly what I was looking for in booking a small localy run hotel in this small island. Beach is few meters away ( one small block)
