My stay was fabulous, all the staff members were super friendly but special thanks to Jebat and Mat, both of them taught me many things about the culture and the language. We had a great time around the campfire thanks to them, it really felt like talking to friends. The place itself is beautiful, the food is delicious and the rooms are super nice, very comfortable and clean. I’m sad to leave but if I ever come back that’s the place I’ll stay. Plus I stayed during the low period so the camp was almost empty which made the stay even better.

Ismail is great and very welcoming host, always trying to help with a smile and organizing whatever he can so that staying in Taman Negara is as pleasant as it can be. The location is great, couple of minutes walk from the bus station, right in front of river crossing with a nice restaurant just a couple of steps below the rooms. Regardless, the location is peaceful and quiet. Rooms are basic, but very clean and everything works (warm water, AC etc.). Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amar Camp (dans resort) will hold a special place in my memory for so many reasons. The location was breath taking. The resort is tucked away from the riverside with its own private mini beach where you can play volley ball and stargaze at night. The accommodation is surrounded by tall green luscious trees, birds tweeting and the flow of the river.There is lots of space for outdoor seating / eating areas which is perfect for reading, taking in the nature and socialising. I am an online teacher so WiFi is essential for me. I can confirm that the WiFi was super fast!!! I forgot that the accommodation included half board. The food was classic Malaysian style for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They picked me up and dropped me off on demand and helped me get to the bus station which is over an hour away! Dan, Nazry his wife and all the others I met made the stay a truly wonderful experience. They are locals so know everyone in the town so if you need to book a trip you can ask them as they offer excellent prices and services. Would definitely recommend this place to all tourists!

We really enjoyed the location. It's a little further from town than few other guesthouses but it provides a nice walk and some tranquility. We enjoyed that a lot. The owner is a very nice lady, always ready to help. Her daughter was super funny and came to play with us. It was a very pleasant stay.

Location. The host is superb friendly. The property is very close to food and river/jetty. They provided snacks and some food in the room. The place is clean. Will definitely visit again.

The host and his wife were very friendly. We forgot a bag with clothes and they helped us to get it back. During our stay we booked the two day one night hike in the jungle with them, everything was great! The room was clean and the location was perfect, the bed was great as well.
