    This place is a one of a kind gem in Ometepe. The food is amazing, the location is perfect (the lake is at the end of the lane if you want a quick dip) and it’s conveniently next to both shops and restaurants. The beautiful art that is characteristic of Lazy Crab is incredible, it made the vibe of the hostel relaxing and it was offset by the fireflies that are visible from the terrace in the evening. The owner was helpful, caring and was happy to share tips for the best places to visit on the Island. I will definitely be returning.

    Best choice when you are visiting Ometepe! The Bamboo Cabins are built by the amazing Che, who's a very kind host, that provides you with all the information you need. The rooms have a mosquito net and the open structure and the fan make a nice sleeping temperature. The location is close to the water and close to the beautiful village of Balgüe, which is best to discover the island and have a full authentic experience with a lot of cheap and very tasty Comedores.

    A good location with small shops and restaurants at the bottom of the road. A spacious apartment in a great modern house. Full kitchen facilities and wifi connection were ideal and made our stay much easier, also a great view and we could enjoy our meals on the spacious balcony or relax in the hammock, or on the comfy sofas.
