We were so thankful that we were allocated a room with one of the best views in this hotel. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, the shower pressure good and the huge windows meant we could get a panoramic view of the surroundings. Breakfast was scrumptious and delicious with local fish, mackerel, eggs, cheese and even hummus. There's also a separate kitchen where you can make your own meals with all the utensils already provided. The staff at the reception was also very friendly and told us that this hotel is actually normally a folk school. We thought it's a really great use of space. The nearby Vågan kirke was a picturesque landmark that we drove by everyday but each day it looked different due to the fast changing weather in Lofoten. Thank you Sommer hotel for renting out this space for us travelers to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

We spent a few days at this campsite, renting one of the cottages available. The location is perfect if you want to visit places in eastern Lofoten. The campsite is big enough so you can easily find a place for you. Our original cottage was on the side of the campsite and we had some problems accessing the Wi-Fi. The host of the campsite was amiable and communicative. Once we informed him about our issues with the Wi-Fi, he offered us a nicer, and better-equipped cottage where the Internet connection worked perfectly. Thank you once again!

The host is an entrepreneur, so his time is flexible, he can come home to meet to provide keys personally. As I am the first customer to stay at his place, the host is receptive to my feedback and comments how to improve the stay, ie, to install hooks for jacket on bedroom door and a small closet with coat hangers, add a small dining table with 2 chairs, add a picture of the property as seen from the road, add description how to get to his property, etc. He installed a jumbo sized smart TV in the bedroom.

We had a great time! Clean and cosy rooms and common areas. We really enjoyed the wonderful kitchen that was very well equipped for preparing all meals if wanted. We really appreciated it! Very kind and helpful hosts made the stay also pleasant. If we go to Skrova again - Nøtnes Midnattsol Guesthouse will be first choice!
