A lovely apartment with stunning views across the bay. Bob and Margaret were wonderful hosts, providing us with lots of useful information. We enjoyed the fresh fruit which was left for us and the beers in the fridge. It was great to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day enjoying the beautiful views.

Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Well located. Near enough to the centre to be in easy reach of everything but not so close as to be disturbed by nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable and the owner was really pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

    We traveled as a sports team and were looking for an affordable place with a communal kitchen. Centabay exceeded my expectations of a backpacker lodge. It was very clean, handy location and great kitchen facilities. We also enjoyed the spa pool :)
