Amazing location. Very kind caretaker. The two pools - one heated, are a nice way of relaxing and enjoying the views. The dirtroad to the hotel us only 6 km and easy to travel in an ordenary car

Amazing location at the edge of the Grand Canyon of Oman, next to the start of the balcony trail. Amazing views at both sunset and sunrise. Lots of goats roaming around, very picturesque. Mohsin provides great customer service and is always around and happy to help with whatever you need. Good breakfast and good dinner. If you want to splurge on one accommodation during your trip in Oman, this is the one!

The staff (Khanal) was great. The food was great. Cleaning was great. Best place to stay if you want to do the balcony walk or the Jebel Sums summit.

The property is beautiful. It feels (as the owner hopes it will) like a home away from home. But it also feels like a calm and lush Oasis in the middle of the desert mountains next to a lively little city. Everything is a combination of new and/or well thought out, and it's clear Ahmed has taken great care to craft a wonderful experience for his guests. He's there when you need him but will leave you to yourselves otherwise. It's been a long time since I experienced this type of traditional Arab hospitality at a hotel (was my partner's first time experiencing it). Staying here was a delight. It's also a really convenient location -- about 50 minutes from Wadi Damm / 90 minutes from Bat/Al Ayn Beehives... 15 minutes from Misfat al Abriyeen... 40 minutes from Nizwa... and he's arranged so you can get really yummy local food delivered from a nearby restaurant.

Featuring a shared lounge, Jabal Shams, the summit house provides accommodation in Misfāh. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge.

Guys, it's a jewel of Jebel Shams! One of the best stays. The house is new, very clean, with two spacious rooms, friendly host, and amazing views 360 around. Hot shower, comfy XXXXL size bed (I stayed in a room with 1 bed). The guys were extremely helpful guiding us and meeting us at the house, also we asked if they can do a tour in the morning, and it was a great experience: a nice traditional breakfast with coffee with a Grand Canyon view + a hike + a wadi riding. AMAZING. Highly recommend. The nature around there is something. Also, if you'll arrive early, you can ask to arrange a dinner with a million dollars sunset view. No kidding.

This place is a little gem, a lucky last minute find. The location is wonderful, right amongst the palms with a beautiful outlook and only a few minutes walk through to the old village. In addition to nicely appointed bedroom and bathroom for a very affordable price, there are several outdoor lounging areas with elevated views over the fields. Hamza was a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host and offered a traditionally cooked meal during my stay. I was sorry to only stay one night as it was very peaceful and relaxing, it would have been nice to stay longer.

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful, the rooftop is the most beautiful one we have seen in Oman. The owner is superfriendly, the breakfast was really good and the location perfect for visiting the mountains, Misfah, Jabreen, Bahla... Really recommended!

Bait Al Aali is such a unique guesthouse. An old building but very well refurnished and comfortable. The room was super clean. And the bed was so comfortable. But most impressive thing during my stay was the host who was very kind and attentive. Two thumps up. Highly recommended.

The location was amazing as it is right at the beginning of the Balcony trail. Our host was very sincere, he was waiting for us and gave us a tour, made coffee and served dates. He had a lot of stories and history of the area to share which made the stay much more personable. His family were able to prepare a dinner for us that was delicious. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise. There is an outdoor kitchen that had all that you could need to prepare a meal. The heater worked great as it cooled off quite a bit at night. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

The inn was of mud brick and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The location was great, near a deserted mud brick village and a date plantation. It was a short walk into town. From the Inn it’s a short drive to Misfah La Abriyyin, which is definitely worth a visit.
