I arrived in Arequipa on Monday afternoon (30 December 2024), and twisted my ankle 5 minutes into my Walking Tour. I did not get a chance to see any of Arequipa’s attractions or celebrate New Year’s Eve. I stayed indoors for 2 days to heal my swollen ankle. The team took care of me in the following ways: * Moved my luggage from my room on the 4th floor to Ground floor (because the lift was not working) * Gave me ice (for my swollen ankle) in the morning, afternoon and night every day from Monday until Thursday * Served breakfast in my room on Tuesday and Wednesday (it was so delicious!) * Helped me to call LATAM and Copa Airlines for me to change and confirm my flights (I was on hold for a long time on multiple attempts) * Advised me on which Tours to take (and arranged for Ruta del Sillar) and restaurants to go to based on my limited mobility My heartfelt appreciation to everyone who was on duty during my stay: Milagros, Fiorela, José, Lino, Enrique, Favian, Jhorly, Nadhia & Saly. They took good care of me and made me feel at home when I was traveling alone and so far away from home.

The hotel is really good. Extremely well located, close to the main attractions and excellent restaurants. The attentiveness of the staff is a plus, and the comfort of the beds and the quality of the sheets make the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was in a great location, only a few minutes walk from all of the main attractions. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The shower was excellent, hot and powerful. We did not get a chance to avail of the breakfast, but the hotel did give us a packed breakfast on our last morning, which was a nice touch. The place was spotlessly clean.
