Jose went above and beyond to help us out whilst we stayed here! Was super communicative, and helped us order taxis to the bus station early in the morning, looked after our bags whilst we went on an overnight tour on the lake and so much more! Showers were hot, and beds super comfy! We had the breakfast before our early morning tour which was also great. Would highly recommend staying here :)

The host and his family were so welcoming and incredible. They helped us with tours and fed us the most wonderful meals. Their hospitality made us feel like a part of their family. The gues house was luxurious and beautiful. I can't recommend it enough.

They offer a tour of the floating islands for 30 soles which I recommend instead of taking these group tours. Lina and Leonardo are wonderful people and so was the stay with them in their floating hotel. The place is just breathtaking and worth every minute spent there. We only had a late evening and had to leave early in the morning so were worried if it makes sense to have a night on the lake - ended up on a romantic sunset boat ride towards the room as Lina picked us up, had a wonderful view from the room of the opposite hills and then very nice homemade dinner with the family. In the morning Lina made pancakes for us and with a foggy sunrise she dropped us back to the port. I recommend this special experience to everyone visiting Puno! Of course it's not a 5* hotel, but you will remember it 1000x more.

Quechuas Lodge is definitely one of the best accommodations we had on our entire trip. The rooms are basic, but incredibly cozy. The love that has been put into it, the friendly hosts, the terrace with a daybed and a table and chairs are perfect for switching off. The short tour with the host was also very interesting and a lot of fun. The host mother and the children were also incredibly nice and accommodating. The food tasted great, was reasonably priced and great to eat on the terrace. Yes, it's basic, but that's exactly what we wanted here. 10/10!!!

If you are staying in Uros, look no further. Remember, you are staying on an island so a good communication with the host is crucial and you can't find a better host than Joel. He personally picks you up at the port in his boat, takes care of the breakfast (included) and dinner (s30). He really cares about his guests and makes sure you have everything you need. He helps you with the day trips, with your transportation from and to Puno or the airport of Juliaca. He even arranged me a taxi to the airport that was s50 cheaper than the normal price ! The room is more like a little house, it's very spacious with beautiful views over the lake. next to it is a private outside bed. Breakfast and dinner are simple, healthy but very delicious !
