Absolutely everything, perfect stay. The lodge is absolutely beautiful - 10/10. We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

This is great value for a family to stay on Moorea. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a family of four, and the lodge also has a restaurant. The breakfasts were great, particularly the coconut bread. This is a great alternative to a fancy resort for people who are travelling as a family.

The bungalow, the kitchen and the pool were amazing. A supermarket is close by. Maybe beware if you are a light sleeper: You can clearly hear the dogs and roosters in the neighbourhood. But I could sleep very well listening to the waves.

Ivan is an incredible host, he made me feel at home, caring down to the smallest detail. He is very friendly, a very nice person and he makes sure that you enjoy your stay to the fullest, he has the best will for everything. We had an absolutely lovely stay! Harald is a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, offering great tips for local excursions and activities. One of the highlights of our trip was the private lagoon tour he gave us on his boat—truly unforgettable! The bungalow itself is clean, well-equipped, and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just around the corner, there’s a well-stocked grocery store, which made everything super convenient. The beaches and main attractions are only a few minutes away by car. Although we didn’t have time to use it, there’s a kayak available free of charge, perfect for paddling out to the nearby sandbank. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return. Highly recommended!

This was a last minute booking just for overnight as we were on a long cruise fortunately with an overnight stay in Papeete. This was just what we needed to be relaxing around their beautiful pool, enjoying the sea breeze! The set up is superb with our room seperate to the kitchen & laundry along side the pool with an outdoor lounge area. Tropical breakfast was included. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful beyond belief. Only a 10 minute walk to Moz's Pizza restaurant which was a real fun place to be with delicious food. We plan to return to Villa Sunrise for longer in the future. Bless our hosts.

This was our first stay on Moorea. We were in awe when we walked in. It was difficult to find at first, but once there, we traveled the island on scooter and found our way easily. The view was spectacular, with sunrise from the bed or balcony each morning. Private beach not really good for snorkeling, but easy to get to Temae beach. We did not get breakfast as did some other reviewers, but that was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was perfect! Frederique was friendly. Eat at Motu Grill next door. It is fantastic!

EVERYTHING PERFECT! Accomodation looks exactly like the illustrated pictures (probably live even better). A declicious breakfast is being served to your requested/agreed time with very much detail and freshness (you can´t ask for more). A very lovely couple which are very supportive. Laurent called many excursion companies for swimming with whales and made it possible (even though it was peak and on short notice). Side note, the excursion was successful and we were indeed lucky and able to really swim with whales (accompanied from dolphins) in open water. Insane experience and a must do! Unforgettable 3 days at Moorea and so nice owners with Raquel and Laurent.
