The accommodation is on hill, so you definitely need a car (but it is must have for Madeira over all). House is good equipped, everything was very clean. A 25 minute drive to Funchal to the east and a 25 minute drive to Porto Monitz to the north-west was ideal. In addition, the hotel was very easy to get to and parking facilities were excellent.
