It is cosy and compact, cleverly arranged. There is a welcoming stairs from the open patio to the first floor of the nice little house in the typical white washed color with blue trim. The apartment covers the whole floor with two bedrooms, the living with open kitchen and a hall connecting it to the bathroom. It is simple and functional and the kitchen is fully equipped even with a full roll of kitchen paper, some coffee, thee, olive and sunflower oil etc. To get easily started. The location is in one of the nearest streets to the beach Praia da Adrage and a nice 20 minute walk trough nature and an occasional single (farm)house. And just round the corner is Sisudo restaurant to have an excellent Portugese hot lunch or dinner. The Portugese owner of Lomba House is attentive and fluent in English and very flexible and helpful.

It was better than we expected. A very beautiful accommodation, with great attention to detail and a fresh renovation. Especially beautiful is the view from the little balcony of the Sintra Palace. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is a separate room as well as a cozy patio for relaxing or dining. The location is in the very heart of Sintra. Nearby are the railway and bus stations, the tourist bus to Pena Palace, and a good supermarket within walking distance. Thank you for your hospitality ❤️

    The villa was just a short walk to the Praia Grande beach which was sun soaked and never too busy. It was a great location for visiting the local area. The grounds of the villa had a lovely pool, large terrace, tropical plants, pond and short cut to the beach. Domingos and Margarida were really helpful hosts who informed us about local attractions. Domingos also arranged for our taxi to Lisbon airport at 6.30am.

    Lovely hosts, amazing location. Less than 10 min walk to Praia Grande beach. There is a cute little spot with a grocery store, spa and street food restaurants also about a 10 min walk away from the villa. We got fruits and vegetables and yoghurt from the shop to add to the breakfast 😊

    Grandma's boutique hotel with a great view, very close to the beach and private parking. The location is great, close to Sintra and only about 40 minutes to Lisbon. The property is owned by a foundation started by the former Portuguese prime minister. There are booklets with the program of the foundation all over the property.
