This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Every detail is exceptional. The location is absolutely perfect, the warm welcome included an optional glass of port, the room has everything you need including a big fridge and balcony, the friendly staff were so helpful, the breakfast is probably the best we have ever had at a hotel (it includes free breakfast champagne). Everything was amazing. Shout out to Pedro for the warm welcome. We will be back here for sure. 10/10

Our room was cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the island. However, what truly made this hotel stand out was its unique library and bookshop. This feature created an exclusive, intellectual atmosphere that we’ve never encountered in any other hotel. Another highlight was the breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a diverse and delicious spread, featuring both local Azorean specialties and international options. The quality and variety were impressive, and it was clear that great care was taken to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. The breakfast was exceptionally made and the food varied from day to day which made each morning a little surprise! The staff was very forthcoming and friendly - the cook would always chat with us in the morning and even the owners passed by to introduce themselves. Everything was very personal and you could see and feel the love that is being poured into this hotel!

This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in! On one hand, you can feel the rich history of the place, and on the other hand, it's a charming boutique hotel where every detail is beautifully crafted. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the amazing breakfast, and the stunning views. It’s a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Angra. Angra stole my heart; it's a place I would love to return to. You can take a leisurely 20-minute walk to the city center or drive to convenient public parking spots.
