Perfect for a stay close to the airport. Super nice staff, clean rooms, and had a pool. Bonus that they were able to arrange our transportation to the airport at 4:00am for an early morning flight. They even packed a take away breakfast for us since we had to depart before the restaurant opened.

I really enjoyed my stay at Roots Hotel, all of the staff were so nice and welcoming ! Very friendly atmosphere, lovely seating area outside near the pool with free coffee which is really nice to have :) our apartment was very clean and a very comfortable apartment with a lovely balcony and air conditioning worked great, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel !

This was a very special location and room, we were on the top floor and had a terrace off the room, I think our room was the only one that had a terrace. The kitchen was shared with all rooms, was well stocked and clean. You enter building into a living room with a TV and kitchen so a place to hang outside of the room. They gave everyone a tasty breakfast treat, nice bonus. It was close walking distance to main city area, restaurants and shopping. We are vegetarian and there was an excellent vegan restaurant that was walking distance from our room.

A perfect stay in every way! The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail and a lovely little terrace, everything exudes elegance and warmth. Spotlessly clean! The shared kitchen is also a nice touch: practical and well-organized. The location is ideal, perfect for getting around on foot. This a great hotel. Newly renovated using beautiful materials, it is so comfortable and lovely. The location is perfect: it's in a quiet area so sleeping is no problem, but every tourist site is just a short walk away. There is a lovely terrace on the top of the building with a great view. We stayed in a hotel-type room but they have a larger two-bedroom apartment-type room for longer stays Getting to meet the owner was a real treat. He is so proud of the hotel, and rightly so. The building has been in his family for many generations and he lovingly renovated it and did a great job. Plus, he is so welcoming, we feel like we made a new friend. We liked Faro but loved Solar Mendoca.
