We had an amazing stay at this house! Very cozy, spacious, and clean, with a breathtaking view of the Douro River. The house is full of history and a unique atmosphere, and here we truly felt the spirit of Portuguese culture. Everything is perfectly arranged for a comfortable stay. The hosts were absolutely wonderful — super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We left with the feeling of having touched something truly special. We will definitely come back!

lovely attention to detail with everything you could need from the kitchen facilities and toiletries in the bathroom. the property is very well designed and feels comfortable and private. it’s lovely to wake up in the morning and see the lovely garden. the hosts were so lovely and did a great job at making sure we had everything we need.

We travelled with our 1 year old baby and was awesome! The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee machine with capsules!), bathrooms very cleans, hot water, WiFi, TV, AC (cold and hot), around 4 hectares of land to explore (the baby loved that) and Aurora (the host) is extremely communicative. She and her son helped us with all details about the area, where are the supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations. Also which is the faster way to Porto (only 20 minutes by car!). We were lucky to have a Full Moon and was INCREDIBLE! Free parking at the location up to two-three cars. Thank you for all, Aurora!

The owners, Tiago and Patricia, are warm and welcoming, and the entire staff goes far beyond expectations to make your stay perfect. From the moment you arrive, you feel cared for—and the “King’s Breakfast” is an absolute highlight! The cabins are beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. Built from wood and set facing breathtaking views, they open up to endless stretches of green mountains, which look astonishing at any time of the day. For creative work, relaxing - it’s more than perfect. Families would also enjoy the place. Kids will love the biological pool and the farm setting, with sheep, chickens, a friendly dog, cat, and other animals adding so much joy to the experience.

Perfect location - my husband was working in Grijó and I had a flight from Porto the following morning. It was a beautiful and peaceful location, the room was very quiet and the facilities were perfect. The wonderful and friendly hosts recommended a delicious restaurant for dinner a short drive away. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. The airport transfer service was good value and very helpful as my husband needed to drive in the opposite direction!
