Beautiful, private, modern property located very well, close to restaurants, cafes and museums. Friendly and helpful property owner. Good air-conditioning/heating, nice lighting, good size space. We were quite comfortable!

This was my favorite place to stay in all of Portugal - I couldn't recommend it more! It is in such a beautiful location. The owner was so kind and helpful and welcoming. The wine they make is fantastic - again perhaps my favorite in all of Portugal! The whole facility was wonderful to explore and spend time in even in the winter months. The room had a full kitchen and everything I needed; it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was truly a fantastic stay. I hope to come back one day, and I will recommend it to anyone I know who is in Portugal!

The hosts/owners and their daughters were very nice and welcoming. The bed and overall comfort were also pretty good. They have 3 donkeys and one of them is pregnant so expect a new little one in a few weeks if you visit.

Excellent staff service! Welcoming and always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Wifi, aircon and public tv very good. Everything very very clean. Use of kitchen good but no kettle, toaster , tin opener and the pans were very scratched/worn. Shower curtain upstairs kept blocking shower drainage hole so often the water flooded over. But without these small things it was a really good 5 day stay. Big thanks to the fantastic staff who made it feel like home

Comfortable hotel in the center of Portalegre. Very warm and hospitable staff. They really make you feel at home, and go the extra mile to cater for all your needs! We got a big and cozy room, and really enjoyed the small balcony. Breakfast is good, with a nice selection of local pastries.

    The host received us very well, he was very helpful and kind. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, to cook, make coffee, wash clothes, whatever you need. The apartment was very clean and spacious both inside and in the terrace. The location was nice, close to free parking, next to a coffee place (just downstairs) and close to several restaurants with great food.

    The location was Handy for the city centre but out of the way enough for A peaceful evening. The Room was the size of A small flat and If you've ever wondered what it was like to sleep in A museum, this is the Place. The Art and décor takes back in time yet still providing all modern amenities. even though surrounded in Antiques the whole House was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fit for A king and I was lucky enough to be given some beautiful homemade, very yummy, cakes to enjoy on my Adventures for the day.
