This is a beautifully renovated house with 8 rooms I beleive. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are beautifully appointed and clean. Ni e balconies , patios to enjoy the outdoors. Breakfast room where you may also bring food back for lunch and dinner if you desire. Also a front reading room.

It was easy to get on street parking within 100m of the building. The apartment is one floor above the laundromat. The village is quiet at night. The host met us onsite and showed us the facilities. She was very welcoming and offered biscuits and cherry liquor with chocolate cups. Clean and comfortable. The mezzanine has the double mattress and a low ceiling.

We loved our stay at Obidos Patio House! Our hosts made us feel really at home. The room is clean, cosy, and really cute and everything worked well. We also loved the really generous breakfast (we ate till we were stuffed). For drivers, don’t worry about Google Maps saying it takes 8 minutes to walk in from the free parking outside the city walls. You will just need to cross the road and pass through the wall at Porta da Vila, go down the road on the right and you’re there! It’ll take you less than five minutes.
