This property deserves 100 stars!! The setting is beautiful, the property is outstanding, but the best part of the Alpine Homstead if the staff. Jasmina made us feel like family, and Eddy made us the most delicious food. We arrived soaking wet on our motorbike and Jasmina took all our wet gear to her laundry room, washed it, dried it, and had it ready for us the next morning. She welcomed us with a selection of local liquers served out in the lovely garden area. Interior including rooms decorated in modern alpine style. No air conditioning but evenings are cool enough to leave the window open for fresh air. No TV in the room but excellent wifi, a kettle and selection of tea and coffee. Nice shower with plenty of hot water, we had 2 single beds which were very comfortable. I believe there is a wellness and spa area but we did not use it. There is a climbing wall room in the basement and outdoors there's a rustic children's playground area. Plenty of free parking at the homestead. Dinner was exceptional! Eddy uses as much local products as possible. Delicious mushroom soup, beef carpaccio, salad, grilled chicken breast, beef tenderloin, each dish was better than the last. The included breakfast was wonderful, fresh eggs to order any style, delicious caffe latte, homemade yogurt, local cheeses, fresh croissants, fruit salad. The Bled area is beautiful with some exceptional roads for the motorbike. Alpine Homestead is the perfect place to use as a base to explore this beautiful area of Slovenia.

Really peaceful and classic hotel. I enjoyed the atmosphere and lake view with the morning sun. Breakfast felt really classic with a slovenian touch and when standing in the balcony I could really feel special atmosphere of the Julian Alps. Shower worked perfectly and if you need there is also television with international channels. Railway station is within a walking distance, only like 2-3 minutes from hotel door.

The breakfast is amazing! The owners are both very friendly and helpful! They offered us a lot of valuable information about things to do there (and believe me you can do a lot of things). The location is excellent- there are a lot of trails starting from nearby and the bus station is 30 meters away.

We were like in our own home, but in very beautiful countryside. It was enough just to look outside from the window or from terace. We came there to visit Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj and Nihalka Vogel. This property had a very good location to visit all those places. The house was very safe. In the night there was an orcan, but it nothing happened to this property and to us. Children sleep properly during the night and had no idea that outside is an orcan. Many properties around had damage roofs, many old trees falled down. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed in the Apartment with Garden View:) Amazing and welcoming pretty, clean house with a lovely garden!! Peaceful and quite and I highly recommend it!!     Excellent location if you want to enjoy outdoor activities in Pokljuka. The kitchen is open most of the day, which is nice if you don't want to schedule your day around meal time. The room was pretty big, which is a plus when you organise your hiking equipment.

    Wonderful, wonderful place, you will not regret staying here. Our room was amazing, the hosts were fabulous and the location is ideal for Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. The food was amazing too, make sure you stay for dinner.

    Breakfast was delicious, excellent and plentiful. Location is ideal for a full time real rest, deep inside the forrest. There are additional facilities for leisure and entertainment, as well as bicycles for rent. Staff was really polite and helpful. Rooms had everything required for the stay. Pokljuka is ideal if yoz want to be based around Bled, but not in city centre

    Great location, very cosy apartment, providig nice equipment. Very clean and great temperature regulation, it was nice and warm. Children enjoyed books that were at disposal for all apartments. Very good check-in/out procedure.
