As everyone mentions, the staff members were very friendly and efficient. The location is close to the highway but only a mile or two from the cute historic part of Abingdon, with its old houses and restaurants (we loved 128 Pecan). The rooms were quite large, and equipped with everything a reasonable traveler needs. No spa folderol, but bed, chair, desk, TV, lock, and exceptionally strong wifi. I'm not a spy, nor any kind of secret business dealer, so I didn't need a gated community. The host was friendly, and the place was quiet, too.
