The room was extremely comfortable and quiet, in a slew of hotels it was the only one with silent Aircon. The location was ideal for a short walk into town, and onsite parking was handy.

Perhaps the room is a bit more costly than I would pay but the facilities are lovely. I dine frequently at the Hawkeye throughout the year.

A beautiful old house with so many delightful features, sympathetically designed in a calm and relaxing colour pallette. Extremely comfortable bed, loved the spa bath and great shower. Anna and Rob made us very welcome, and we wished our stay was longer. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to nearby Cooperstown as recommended, and of course the fall foliage colour was splendid as we drove through. We struggled a bit navigating with our GPS but this is our first visit to the States and sometimes you find amazing places by getting lost!

Fantastic visit: the check-in/out process and communication was seamless and very convenient. The location is great if catching a performance at the opera festival, and swimming in the state park is also easily accessible. I will be back!
