    Location was amazing and the house had everything one could need. We were a party of 8 - five adults and three children and it was sufficiently big that we had plenty of room. Lots of hiking and water sports rental nearby. The short loop walk at the house was lovely for an early morning or late evening stroll. Two full decks provided nice covered outdoor space - but bring your bug spray! BBQ/Kitchen had everything you will need. Some negatives as outline below but not to the extent that we would not book here again.

    Our room at Retreat on the Lake was absolutely perfect. The room was large, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were great. We were surprised how quiet the road was. The location is perfect - just across from places like Tilted Cafe and Ingles Market, with lots of other amenities nearby too. We spoke with Chris on the phone as we hadn't received our door details (due to me having an international phone) and he was lovely - polite and helpful.

    Our camper lost power so we quickly had to find a place to stay in town. We could not beat the price of this place! It has a nice cozy cabin feel, comfortable bed, very clean, wifi and smart tv. Exceeded our expectations!

    We loved how quaint the lodges were. The breakfast was adequate with choices of cereals, bagels, muffins, cakes, fruit, along with tea/coffee available all day and fruit juices for breakfast. The decor was in keeping with the hotel and was kept very clean at all times. Lovely lounge area with roaring fireplace. Staff were always very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. Location was perfect for our son at Young Harris College. Views were amazing We will definitely be returning.
