Central House is exceptionally well placed in Bar Harbour with great access to all amenities and a great breakfast is available just one block away. The rooms are old-fashioned but exceptionally well presented and clean with all modern amenities. The porch gives the property amazing curb-side appeal. Would recommend without hesitation.

Wonderful small bungalows, well maintained and cosy. Althoug, quite compact, a family of four has all they need. On site all is provided for Bbq including fuel. Outdoor games and the ground are superby kept by the team.

The ambiance of the property. In a quiet street with beautiful homes & guesthouses. Easy walk into town & easy access driving. Plenty of parking. Staff were very helpful & friendly. comfortable,spacious room with all amenities Gad a lift if on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel section. Close to Acadia NP. Great breakfast.

Excellent motel bang on in the centre of Bar Harbor! Amazing beds, the bathroom was brand new and the toiletries very nice and quality. The room was spotless and everything in working order. The breakfast was simple but well organised and sufficient. It was so cool doing a bit of people watching from the balcony, Bar Harbor is such a lovely little town, very touristic. Such a great little motel at great prices ( we did go off season)

This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy! We plan to make it an annual trip because we love it so much!
