Exceptional Host Even before our arrival, Summer offered advice on traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. She welcomed us warmly, introduced her home and the region, and recommended organized day tours. Renting bikes and motorbikes from her was incredibly convenient. Unforgettable Highlights Our favorite activity was the Tour around the Mekong N2. For about 1,000,000 VND for two, the tour included a boat driver and guide. We explored coconut plantations, local workshops, charming villages, and the Mekong’s canals. The four-hour tour was filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. Comfortable Accommodation Le Mekong Bleu is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Our air-conditioned room was comfortable, and we loved relaxing in the cozy living room where we played Summer's guitar and chatted with Summer. Delicious Breakfast Breakfast was a delight, especially the noodle soup—it was one of the best we’ve had in South Vietnam! The fresh ingredients and rich flavors made the morning very special while we had a wonderful chat with the other guests. Heartfelt Thanks Thank you, Summer! The homestay is in a peaceful village, on the Mekong River bankside, the family is really nice and rooms look as on the photos. You definitely have to try their ginger chicken and lemongrass chicken! We could take bikes and explore the neighbourhood. The cruise was also great! The nearest ATM is 10km away, so bring cash

It’s a beautiful, idyllic place where you can completely rewind. Surrounded by lots of greenery, it’s just right if you want to spend some time outside of busy city. The host is very kind and helpful, you will feel here like at home! Comfortable bed, cozy rooms. That’s all you need for a great holiday! Can truly recommend it!

I don't know if you know the feeling when you're on your way from one place to the next and only have to make a stopover to meet the basic needs: eat, shower, chill a bit, sleep, a taxi at an unspeakably early time and especially someone who will help you through all of this even though you don't speak a word of Vietnamese. We found so much more in the Hideaway Bungalows: the best homemade pho I have ever eaten, very authentic, large huts with a beautiful outdoor bath area, a panorama window in the middle of the most beautiful jungle with jungle sounds, a host who even later in the evening helped with concerns (vegan breakfast or ordering a taxi early in the morning). And all this in a wonderfully rural area, where you get to know a lot of people and are still connected to the city 24/7. Together they guided me to the right bus station and it was only on the bus that I really realized how lucky I was to have found this place.

A wonderful hidden gem away from all hectic of our former weeks travelling. A wonderful maintained garden, warm and welcoming people to accomodate you the best possible way. The open atmosphere of a comfortable house and room. Very gentle staff and delicious dinners 👍
