David is a welcoming and thoughtful host. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was great to have kitchen facilities. David kindly gave us some bread as we arrived by cycling and were too late to shop for food. The breakfast was generous with lots of choice. I would love to stay here again and hopefully have time to swim in the pool. The location is very peaceful.

People were friendly and staff was lovely and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and views were breathtaking. The forest and field/trail walks were lovely and hiking and swimming were our major pass times as well as visiting with friends. The indoor swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor pond a great plunging pond in September after a hot tub visit. Dinners were exceptional and breakfast is "healthy" with many choices. There is always a vegan/vegetarian option available.

Large sunny terrace overlooking the Danube. Freshly cooked fish. A wonderful breakfast with loads of freshly cut fruit, yogurt, homemade jams etc. A bike storage room. Room with a view of the river. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and efficient. They gave us clear instructions to arrive before 5.00 when the last ferry leaves. A delightful experience. Thank you!
