Good size, location and the perfect end to our holiday. This is a holiday home rather than a normal rental as it has everything you could need and some lovely little touches. The house is beautifully built and furnished. Kat was really helpful with everything we could need.

Best hotel in Belize! Wonderful brand new property, luxurious in every single detail and perfectly located on a pristine beach. We stayed at one of their ocean front villas and it was heavenly! Huge bedroom and huge bathroom, beautiful balcony with view of the ocean, private pool on the beach right in front of the sea. Kayak, paddle boards and bikes at our disposal. Lush! Decor is impeccable and mattress and pillow super comfortable. Staff and service are what you’d expect from a 5 stars hotel and more! They also rent golf buggies and can help you book any kind of tour. Restaurant is also upscale with a fantastic view of the ocean and food is delicious. We are so happy to have found this gem. We would only come here when back in Belize 🩷

We were a family of 10 adults, stayed for 4 nights, and thoroughly relaxed and had a good time.

Our beachfront villa with a private pool, the warm hospitality, world class wellness spa, and delicious cuisine created a restorative experience we’ll always remember. A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful team at Prana Maya for making our stay so memorable. If your travels bring you to Placencia and you’re looking for a peaceful, luxury retreat, this newly opened resort is a lovely option to consider.

Location was great, walking distance along the beach or the road to restaurants, and short drive to Placencia Village for market, shops and more restaurants. Good location for many activities in the greater area. Hosts Sandy and Paul were amazing - so nice, so attentive, so helpful. The Placencia Peninsula is quite expensive but this place was ideally located, comfortable and a terrific value.

Kat and Dirk have put so much care and love into creating a home away from home for their guests. The casita is incredibly comfortable and close to everything you might want to see or do in Placencia. We were so grateful for all the recommendations, as well as the generous use of their golf cart and paddle boards. On our last day, Kat and Dirk brought us and all our baggage to the bus stop, and made sure we had everything we needed to get back to Belize City without issue. Their hospitality made our visit to Placencia a stand-out part of our Belize vacation, and I cannot recommend their property enough.

Peaceful property, gave the impression of being in a jungle. Beautiful pool! The owner Olivia was so welcoming and caring, she really makes you feel at home. We also tried Olivia’s Italian cooking on two nights, which was delicious. We organised two trips via the lodge - a day trip to Monkey River and a night trip to Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary - both of which were excellent. Cabin well equipped with fridge, coffee machine, toaster, blender and a little outdoor kitchen. The property is a few kilometres out of Placencia itself but walking distance to a grocery store and a couple of restaurants, there is a resort next door with a restaurant/bar and a nice gym.
