Located in the heart of lijiang ancient town, but at the same time in a very quiet area, as some parts of the town can get very loud and busy at night, So the location is perfect. All the staff are very attentive and helpful, and they went out of their way to provide halal items for our breakfast. The place is designed beautifully, the rooms and beds are comfy. We never asked for making up the rooms, but everyday the trash was taken out, provided with new clean towels, amenities and water, which was much appreciated.

The hotel is located in the middle of the old town in a beautiful old Chinese house, I loved my room with the spa bathtub, it was like going back in time to live a Chinese’s dynasty. Joye spoke excellent English and his assistant was nice enough to pick me and my luggage from the South Gate to to the hotel, they were doing everything to make my stay comfortable. Joye also booked for me jade snow mountain tour and recommended amazing restaurants. Thank you for all the help, highly recommend this place :)

(By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

This homestay features a garden, a terrace as well as free WiFi. The homestay features family rooms. They help us to be very comfortable, they came to pick up us, they upgrade the room, they were very friendly. The room was perfect, I can only recommend.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. Went for one night, ended up with 3 nights. Can highly recommend staying with this Korean/Chinese family. The food is amazing and everyone working is so friendly! If one day I get the chance to return to Shangri-la, I'll definitely stay here again.
