The breakfast room is the jewel of the place: the furniture and tableware are beautiful, the cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and jams are delicious, the warm bread releases a gentle steam when broken, and Gunnar is busy in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor. The location was also great for our dogs and they enjoyed the special welcome treat! The staff were very friendly and kindly offered us a baby bed once they saw we were traveling with our little one. Would definitely recommend and will return to stay next time we're in Denmark.
