It was very close to the ski slopes and amenities were reachable. You definitely need a car to be reaching and commuting around. We were a couple and there was plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the aspects of the cottage including the architecture, ambience, facilities and cosy feel. It was a perfect get away for us. Happy to recommend it to anyone. The personal sauna and fireplace made it even better.

Situated in central Kemijarvi, this hotel is less than 8 km from the Arctic Circle. It provides free WiFi. Rovaniemi city centre is 87 km away. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Kemijärvi! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. Every corner, from the rooms to the common areas, was spotless and welcoming, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special thanks goes to Vlrgemir, who truly made our experience exceptional. His politeness and helpful nature stood out immediately. He went above and beyond, answering all our questions with patience and ensuring we felt at home. He even helped us navigate the area and made excellent recommendations, all while being so genuinely kind and pleasant.
