As for the hosts—They make you feel like part of their family, always open, generous, and genuinely helpful with anything you need. Their warmth and hospitality elevated our experience even further. Same for their staff! Very impressed again as it still make you feel you are living a true local island experience. We would absolutely love to return, and I can confidently say: there’s no other place like this on the island. A true gem and a bargain found! Thank you for everything!

I was moved to rooms located on the beach so this is a review of that experience. The location on the beach is awesome. Requested for Airport pick up, driver was on time, polite, professional and so attentive to our requests. The room is clean and tidy, with a decent size for 2 travelers. Location wise is good. Convenient stores nearby (< 5 mins walking distance). Breakfast buffet was ok. Indonesian's dishes was delicious. Western's selection wasn't many, only potatoes, eggs, no sausage/mushroom/beans. But we are in Indonesia so let's celebrate local delicacy. Room service, we did try the steak with mushroom sauce. It was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and stay in The City Hotel in the future.
