There should be a different category for hotels like this: a destination hotel :-) Of course we were road tripping across Iceland, so we never stayed anywhere more than 1 night, but if we had, it would have been here: wow! The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional, you can see that they enjoy working there. The food was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the lobby is fabulous, the bar and lounge were superb. The entire design and setup of the hotel is just perfect. We had a great room with glacier (lake) view. And don't get me started on the two outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor sauna: we enjoyed it until 22:00 hrs (thank you) after a long drive, and we enjoyed the next morning at 7 AM as well. WOW!

Staff can help arrange glacier tours, as well as boat and snowmobile trips. スタッフがとても優しく迎え入れてくれた。説明も丁寧で安心して過ごせた。キッチン設備は充実していてダイニングも広々していた。大きなアイスランド地図が貼られていて、みんなどこいったここ行こうと話をしていたのが良い雰囲気だった。コーヒーマシンが設置されていて美味しいコーヒーをいただけた。ホテル全体が清潔に保たれていて心地よかった。部屋に洗面台があるのも嬉しいポイント。

The Potato Storage is offering accommodation in Svínafell, with free WiFi and free private parking. All guest rooms in the motel are fitted with a kettle. Our stay was lovely, we were even upgraded to a bigger flat. Regina was kind and helpful, she even proposed to do a laundry for us as we were in need of clean clothes ! The place is super calm and peaceful, we got to see the northern lights from the terrace. It's also very close to the national parks. The flat was clean very well equipped
