This was a beautiful property tucked away on the far side of town on the mountain edge of town, 1/2 mile from the ferry. Our hostess/owner Anna provided many recommendations and helped us book a boat tour through her many connections in town. Her breakfasts top all other breakfasts! The figs, oh my... Our patio had a lovely hammock - with volcano view - and table to chill at. A nearby beach, 6 minute walk was heavenly, and just above it was a quaint hotel restaurant. Can you say afternoon spritz? We of course did the self guided night hike of Stromboli volcano. Mesmerizing...and not as hard as you'd think. A big light show at night! The room was comfortable and cool, spotlessly clean and very very quiet. If you speak Italian you will be able to learn much more history from Anna. Unfortunately my Spanish and French didn't quite cut it for complicated conversations, but we managed to communicate quite well despite my lack of Italian :) Anna is warm and welcoming and super helpful.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Pensione La Nassa offers accommodation in Stromboli, just a short stroll from the coast and its beaches and 45 km from Lipari. Everything was perfect! The owner Gabriele is very kind and helpful. He showed me around and recommended places to see. I stayed at La Nassa four nights and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The room was comfortable and clean, there was also a terrasse with a splendid view on Stromboli and sea. I really enjoyed my stay there and hope to be back one day!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage and a spacious garden, Il Gabbiano Relais offers luxurious apartments and suites in Stromboli, a 5-minute walk from the beachfront. The facility was amazing. So beautiful surroundings, a really nice and beautiful room, so nice and helpful staff and delicious breakfast. I loved staying here and I want to do it again. Definitely on my top three favorite places to stay. I highly recommend this lovely place to others.
