The room was comfortable, with an excellent bed, and the host was available, meeting us upon arrival and assisting with finding parking. In the morning, we had breakfast at the nearby family café. Since the guesthouse is located in the heart of the historic city, parking can be challenging. We visited in winter, and in the evening, there was plenty of parking in the nearby public parking lot, which is free at night. Note that in paid parking lots with a machine, only coins can be used.

The estate offers 2 outdoor swimming pools and a spa for an extra charge. Great place for a stay near Orvieto. I am sure in summer it is amazing, but even in winter it as perfect for our needs. The restaurant is excellent, and the service was very good all around.

The rooms have a private marble bathroom, are elegantly furnished, and are decorated in warm colours. There is free Wi-Fi throughout. I appreciate the cleanliness of the room! I felt comfortable and safe as a solo traveler and absolutely LOVED the location. There was a parking lot close by in which I used to store my rental car while I stayed here. I would highly recommend considering a stay here if cleanliness, safety, and comfort is what matters most to you.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. Free WiFi is available throughout. The location was amazing. The crew was so helpful with everything.

Hotel La Terrazza RESTAURANT & SPA boasts a beautiful view of a green Umbrian valley, which looks even more enchanting as the sun rises in the morning. Excellent location outside the centre of Assisi. Very nice and comfortable, large garden to sit when weather permits A WONDERFUL view of the valley from most or all rooms (we had 6 rooms, all with a wonderful view)

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Giorgia, the host and owner, is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home - it felt more like staying at her own house than a hotel. She even drove us to town and back the night we arrived. The rooms were beautifully decorated with antique furniture and had a well-stocked minibar. The garden and pool were lovely and relaxing, and it was easy to walk into town through her beautiful garden and the nearby escalators. You simply have to visit this place — it deserves more than a ten! I can’t wait to come back someday.

The apartment was modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. We appreciate we could check in at night hours. It is a good location for visiting historical centre of Orvieto. The breakfast was arranged in the nearby café.
