The best hostel experience I've ever had. -The shared bathrooms were so clean and had everything you need (shampoo, conditioner, hairdrier, towels) They were also so roomy and pretty. -The staff was so welcoming and helpful! Since my room was right next to the air purifyer (which was kinda loud during the night) I kindly asked them if they could put it on silent mode and she was so understanding and did so! - I stayed for two nights and I was provided with a new set of towels,pyjamas and slippers. Also when returning from a long day at Naoshima it's so nice to come back to a cleaned room:D - The hotel is also not even 5 mins away from the ferries and the main station. Very convenient for sure:)!!! -They also give you a free pass to use their onsen and in the shared kitchen there's tea, snacks, and water. So comfy.

Situated in Kurashiki, 800 metres from Shinkeien Garden, 撚る屋 features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property is allergy-free and is located 9.1 km from Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park. The property was gorgeous, so well designed with modern touches but a traditional feel. We stayed in both junior suites and the maisonette and all were beautifully designed and decorated. The maisonette was two floors so could be tough for older people. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our group feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was amazing and the chef was lovely, chatting with our group each night and kindly tweaking the menu whenever needed for the picky people in our group. I can see this ryokan becoming very quickly widely recognized for its outstanding quality, design, and service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Yoruya and I hope to stay here again someday.

I had the opposite experience with this place. The room was much more spacious than I had imagined, and really tastefully decorated. So comfortable and cosy. All the staff members were really kind and welcoming, including the couple that does the coffee and breakfast, both of which were delicious. The common area is also really nice and cosy. I will definitively choose this place again if I revisit Onomichi <3

HIYASAI -LOGIN Kurashiki- is located in Kurashiki, within 10 km of Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park and 11 km of Tanematsuyama Park. One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at.

This Hotel directly above the Hiroshima station was luxurious, quiet and extraordinary. The service orientation was worldclass, the rooms outstanding and the price still affordable. The strategic location made it possible to come from Kyoto in the morning, leave the luggage there, see Miyajima and Hiroshima in one day, stay there overnight and use the first Shinkansen up north in the next morning. And indulge in affordable luxury in between.

The common space was very enjoyable, they also have a free drink bar that provides coffee and tee; and even tho not from the dorm room, the view in the morning was really nice.
