Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. I had the chance to help cook dinner one evening, which turned into an unforgettable cultural exchange. The homestay is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the hosts were kind enough to lend me a bicycle to explore the nearby villages, temples, and rice fields. It was peaceful, scenic, and gave me a real glimpse into rural Cambodian life. If you’re looking for a genuine, heartwarming experience beyond the usual tourist spots, I can’t recommend this homestay enough. It’s perfect for travelers who want to slow down and connect with locals in a meaningful way.
