Nalake and Manju ( sorry if I got the names wrong) very prompt with helping us. Always greeted us with a smile. We forgot to bring something, they were quick to help us get it from a shop for us. Breakfast was delicious, with good variety. Rooms very clean and looks new. Surrounding with lots of plants, looks green and refreshing. Kids enjoyed the pool. Location nearby to sigiriya rock and pidurangala. Couple of nearby restaurants with good local food. Good start of the holidays for us as a family!

Sweet andq sour with aq hit of salty that is great for the wheather. Highly recommend! It is a very new hotel. All the facilities works well. Hot Water! Air conditioning and the pool. The pool is a real angel after a hiking or lion rock or a half day safari. It makes our stay very relexing. You can ask the hotel help on Safari booking which may be a slightly expensive than the street, however they got us a very expensive guide who has been working as a guide 10 yrs. We got to see a lot of elephants, peecocks, birds in just 3 hours. They almost always the first jeep to spot/trecking the elephants that makes us a great spots to get our photos.

We had an amazing two night stay here at the end of our time in Sri Lanka. The food was incredible, especially the fish salad:). They hooked us up with a tuktuk driver to get us to Sigiriya Rock in the morning, then a Naturalist for an afternoon park tour to see elephants. The safari tour was incredible value and we saw lots and lots of elephants. We enjoyed a morning at the spa as our treat to ourselves before heading off to Kandy then the airport. It also was amazing and we walked out of there feeling like jello. The facilities are brand new, gorgeous, clean and well thought out. The location overlooking the lake in the private mango grove is very peaceful. The staff are helpful and laid back. I knew coming to Sri Lanka that there is a different dynamic vs Canada when it comes to women, and I certainly didn’t come with any intention of imposing my Canadian values here. However, being at this women managed and staffed hotel was a nice change during the trip where I felt like I could speak up and answer questions ahead of my partner without them looking to him for confirmation. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend.
