Set in Bhurkīā, Bardia Eco Friendly Homestay provides accommodation with seating area. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Bardia Eco-Friendly Homestay is travelers‘ paradise. If you want to you could spend days and weeks here not thinking about anything but how beautiful the nature is surrounding you. Shardul and his family go above & beyond to make your time here memorable in every way possible. I really didn’t have to think about anything because they took care of everything from delicious meals, clean & comfy rooms with a top notch view, to trips to the village and of course the jungle and even how to get and travel from there to other places in Nepal. I felt truly relaxed after just being here for a couple of hours and very recharge when I had to leave. If you’re in luck like me you’ll on top meet likeminded travelers since Shardul’s family rents out four rooms & offers lots of places & opportunities to connect with the other guests (if you want to). Thanks again for the wonderful time! I would come back in a heartbeat to reconnect, relax & recharge.

Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities are a bar and water sports facilities. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We had an unforgettable stay at Wild Planet Eco retreat. We enjoyed the place, the food and the company. We also booked three safaris with Baba and it was incredible! We have been really lucky to have them (they were two) as our guides. They are local and is incredible their knowledge of the place and the species therein, and also their passion for their work. Absolutely awesome! It has been a plesure to meet Baba and to spend this week with him, his family and friends and rest of the staff. We will never forget Tiger land.

Bardia Wild Side Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Bhurkīā. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. I stayed at this accommodation a couple of nights. Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!

Namaste Bardiya Resort is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bhurkīā, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. The owner is a very experienced safari guide. On the jungle walk and jeep safari he offers I was able to see wild rhinos, elephants and even a tiger. He is also very helpful (gave good recommendations, helped book the bus back to Kathmandu...). Food, especially fried rice with omelette for the jungle walks, is just amazing. Can only recommend.

At the hotel, each room includes a balcony with a garden view. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, free toiletries and slippers. Riverside View Park Resort was an incredible experience! The stunning location by Bardia National Park provided the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. The staff was exceptional, always welcoming and helpful. The jeep safari was unforgettable—I spotted tigers, rhinos, elephants, and deer in their natural habitat. The elephant-back safari and birdwatching tours offered a unique way to experience the park’s rich biodiversity. Rafting on the Karnali River was another highlight, with sightings of crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins. After action-packed days, relaxing by the riverside, enjoying delicious Nepali food, and watching the sunset over the jungle was the perfect ending. Set in Bardia, Sunsetview Bardia offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a bar.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and slippers.

The breakfast offers à la carte, continental or vegetarian options. Pramesh and Noemi are the perfect hosts - they make sure you are happy at all times! They have both travelled themselves, so they know what makes for a comfortable stay, e.g. they have a chill-out space with hammocks, the beds are great, there is space to leave your stuff, the bathrooms don't have the usual nuisances like shower over the toilet and what we really appreciated: if you have no safari planned for the day, there is no fixed breakfast time, come when you like, so no stress. All the staff are super friendly too and it makes for a very relaxed stay. Dinner is great, everybody eats together and there is no menu but rather a different dinner set every night that can be altered to individual preferences/ needs. It is great to sit together in the evening and swap stories of the day. The place seems to attract a certain type of traveller and it fits really well and makes it enjoyable to have a drink and a chat together. Pramesh is also a guide in the Bardia National Park and we went on two trips with him, a walking and a jeep safari, and both were great. We had the impression that we got to see a lot more than other people who stayed at different lodges that we ran into. Ramesh is very experienced and has a lot of patience, so we really got to "meet" all the wonderful inhabitants: 5 tigers, one big male wild elephant, several rhinos, deers, different species of birds (also the big hornbills!), it was amazing! Ramesh's cheerful personality makes it a pleasure to spend time with him. We got a very warm send-off and it felt to us that we had arrived as strangers and left as friends. We hope to be back soon!

Set in Bardia, Jungle Base Camp offers accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Hukum, the owner and guide, worked so hard to make sure I had a good time. His wife provides the meals, which were excellent and organic (many of the items are from his own garden). He helped me plan an itinerary for my time there. His prices were reasonable for the excursions. I saw a tiger and elephant in the wild as well as many other species of birds and animals. Although it's significantly more expensive than the other day trips, I would recommend the rafting. It was peaceful and a unique way to see Bardiya.
