Our bedroom was great with a comfortable king bed and great shower/bathroom. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. We were the only guest so had the common area to ourselves as well and enjoyed the excellent included continental breakfast. Highly recommend The Salty Bushman for your stay in The Catlins.

The accommodations were delightful and the location was ideal. The room was quite spacious and Michael was exceptionally hospitable.

One of the best stays we’ve had. Make sure to set your alarm for the stunning sunrise in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer!

All units in the aparthotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Units are fitted with a private bathroom, while selected rooms also feature a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave. We stayed at the property in mid-August 2024 for two nights in the Three-Bedroom Apartment; literally, we had the whole upper floor to ourselves. It was like staying at home, where you had everything you needed to stay comfortable. If you prepare well, you will enjoy the stay and serenity of the area. Please be reminded again that the supermarket and gas station were not closed or in the area. A physical credit card was needed, but no Apple Pay.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. Everything was perfect. The accomodation was very very spacious and confortable will everything to satisfy our needs. Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion. Guests enjoy free use golf clubs. Our excellent hosts made everyone feel very welcome!
