Everything was lovely and the views from the unit were amazing. Our bedroom was great with a comfortable king bed and great shower/bathroom. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. We were the only guest so had the common area to ourselves as well and enjoyed the excellent included continental breakfast. Highly recommend The Salty Bushman for your stay in The Catlins.

It was like staying at home, where you had everything you needed to stay comfortable. If you prepare well, you will enjoy the stay and serenity of the area. Please be reminded again that the supermarket and gas station were not closed or in the area. A physical credit card was needed, but no Apple Pay.

Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion. Our excellent hosts made everyone feel very welcome!
