The property is highly cleaned. The view outside and overall atmosphere is just from the movies. It has absolutely everything you need. Also, on one of the days I had a running event at 5 AM, so they prepared me in advance an amazing custom breakfast on a wood table. 🙌

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. We appreciated the super location and very friendly and helpful staff. A welcoming gift was great (a bottle of Madera and a traditional honey cake)!Many thanks to Sonia!!! A brilliant professional and an amazing girl, she gave us useful advice and guidance. Very comfortable and clean. Very good and diversified breakfast. We highly recommend it! Rent a car to explore the island and try to go on all the tours that Sonia recommends)) Good luck!

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Lovely host, Theresa. Great breakfast. Close to beautiful walks.

We had to check out early on our last day and staff had a to go breakfast ready for us. Close to the village, which was beautiful and a great place for dinner and sunset. Highly recommend staying here.
