The hosts are fantastic! George not only gave us excellent advices but also arranged for several activities, including a buffet dinner at the breathtaking spot at the top of a hill from where we enjoyed beautiful sunset. Bed is of a great quality. Breakfasts should be especially mentioned: a lot of fresh fruits, juices and great coffee ( we were even ask what strength of coffee we would like to have!). And then a choice of cold and freshly cooked stuff. The villa is in a quiet place but very conveniently situated between the jetty and one of the popular beaches, both are within few minutes walk.

I recently stayed at this property, and it was even better than I expected! The location was perfect—conveniently close to grocery stores and liquor shops, making it easy to stock up on essentials. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, which really made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great start to the day. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, so we took full advantage of it. Everything was spotless and modern, making the entire experience very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The rooms are very spacious and very clean. Breakfasts and dinners are tasty. The are aldo very friendly people at the pension(especially the marriage couple: a receptionist and a driver). Arthur together with Wendy were very kind and helpful and professional hosts during our stay. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. Nahid and Sita did a very good job in keeping our apartment clean and the garden tidy. We had a well equipment kitchen we all the tools we needed to cook and eat. Supermarkets for food are all very close reachable by bicycle. The apartment has an ideal location. It is 50m from a sandy beach and 450m from the jetty away. Arthur organized a pick-up from the jetty on arrival which was very helpful. For La Digue the best transport are bicycles. You can rent them on nearly every corner for approx. 150 Rupees/day. If you rent them for a longer period, you might can bargain a discount. Thank you Arthur and team for our pleasant stay, we would definitely choose your location again.

We are currently on Mahe Island and we are still talking about our amazing stay in La Digue (because the bar was raised so extremely high by Maison Ed Elle)! Elluna is incredibly friendly and lovely host. We had two second floor apartments which were very clean and as I am very “smell-sensitive” I want to point out that the apartments smelled like fresh lemongrass or something wonderfully fresh and exotic, unlike many other self catering apartments or even luxury resorts I’ve stayed in before. Rental bikes were organised to us as we arrived and when we got a flat tyre far away from home, a new bike was a call and 15 minutes away! I can’t recommend this place enough! We are extremely satisfied and looking forward to coming back to La Digue to stay at Maison Ed-Elle again. Thank you once more!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Chalets de Palma is set in La Digue. With a garden, the hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Every room comes with a balcony. I liked everything about this place. Breakfast was good and offered different food each day. It was really quiet. I was able to rent a bicycle. The wifi was fast. Lastly, the staff was extremely helpful
