You're not going to beat this location with any other hotel, bar none. The hotel is new and in a super-nicely converted building (it's unclear what it was - but perhaps a large barn or stables of some sort) and it combines rustic features of old stone with nice new, warm wood. The rooms were nicely sized and comfortable and the bathrooms modern with all the amenities we were looking for. The hotel is adjoined to a popular cafe in Kars (which is also owned by them) and served up an overwhelming traditional Turkish breakfast everyday. Super value in this.
