The property is well kept, the views at sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Ashley is so kind and makes you feel special. This was our third or fourth trip here to Single Island Shores! We love the cabins, the quietness and just being here and unplugging for a few days. We even got permission to bring our 9 month old puppy. We felt rested and well just good when we left. We visited here to hike at Watkins Glen and also to break up the drive to Niagara Falls, and did not regret staying here. The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.

Everything is very comfortable and pleasant- the bed linen is so soft (where did you buy it?!), as well as the towels, and the beds are very comfortable. The hospitality was very generous, and the house has everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean. We’ve been traveling for several weeks, and this was without a doubt the best place we stayed in!
