The room is small but has everything you need and is perfectly clean. The shower is the best I had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, great water pressure and it got really hot! The WiFi was great too, strong enough to stream and download videos. The breakfasts were absolutely incredible! I was given a completely different breakfast every morning of my stay and each time it was absolutely delicious, some of the best food I ate in Sri Lanka. Finally the staff are so lovely, I will remember their kindness and hospitality for a long time ❤️

I was prepared for this place to be good and a step up in terms of luxury compared to my other accommodation on the Pekoe Trail but my expectations were, in fact, exceeded. Manu is the property manager and he went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and all of my needs met. For a young gentleman he has a lot of hospitality experience and manages the property with professionalism and charm. Chef Bandula - what can I say? His meals were better than I would expect from a 5 star establishment. Everything cooked to perfection and presented to a high standard. An evening meal in the restaurant in front of a blazing fire was a highlight. Morgan, who provided general assistance, was always at hand and seemed like part of the furniture (in a good, traditional way). Duminda who worked as a butler was also attentive and professional and I am sure has a good career in F&B ahead of him. If you are doing the pekoe trail and have been kind of roughing it for a few days then this is a good place to recuperate, get some washing done and prepare yourself for more walking. It is quite away from the end point of Trail 20 and start point of 21 but it was easy enough to get a 3-wheeler from Uda Pussellawa - if you call Manu, he can also support with this. The 3-wheeler charged $14 for the 20km trip which was reasonable. All in all an excellent place to stay, I highly recommend it.

Amazing property, great staff, and loved the old style bungalow. We had a great time spending time on the lawns, and when it rained, the staff was super helpful to set up the fireplace, and we had an evening of Uno and music.

A super beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Nuwara Eliya! The place feels like home! We even got an upgrade for free. The host is super friendly, a very good cook, and always willing to help us with making plans in the area. For instance, she made a special breakfast for us when we got up early to see Horton Plains. Also, the beds are amazing. Best place to stay in the area!

Great spacious accommodation with a shared living room and kitchen. Included breakfast was more than enough, and a take-away breakfast was arranged on the day of travel.
