Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

Amazing Desert Experience – Peaceful, Clean, and Unforgettable! I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

My partner ane I stayed one night at Thousand Stars Camp and had an amazing time. A big thank you to Ali for his warm hospitality and passion for the camp. The location is incredibly peaceful—tucked deep in the desert with almost no one around. Ali personally arranged our transfers, picking us up in Nizwa and helping us get back to Muscat. We were welcomed with traditional Omani drinks and snacks, which made us feel right at home. The dinner was absolutely delicious—one of the best meals of our trip in Oman. The camp has a stargazing corner perfect for enjoying the night sky, and we highly recommend the sunrise camel ride. The views were breathtaking, and the caretaker kindly took great photos for us. This was a truly authentic and unforgettable desert experience. Highly recommended!

Un immense merci à toute l’équipé, nous avons passé un séjour grandiose. Ils étaient très souriants, accessibles et contents de nous accueillir. Ils nous ont donné envie de revenir. Les activités proposées sont top. Nous recommandons vivement pour se dépayser et découvrir la vit dans le désert. Un grand merci pour tout !!!

High dunes . Very comfortable & large tents. Rashid is an exceptional host, very welcoming and he also has a great sense of humour ! He will bring you on a scorpion safari after dinner . Priceless . Thanks Rashid for our wonderful stay , we will be back

Situé à Al Raka, l’établissement Arab desert camp propose des hébergements dotés d’un coin salon. The hospitality and warmth of the people here takes all the credit. The tents were good and had comfortable beds. Very well setup. The food was good especially the morning Kadak chai. It was a very good stay and experience. Special mentions to Badar who was such a fun guy. He also took us for a drift in his 4x4. He is a very happy jolly person. Very good host.
